Barefoot Shoes For Gyms and Workouts

Going to the gym is one of the best ways to lose fat, gain muscle and keep our bodies fit in our busy lifestyles.

With the increase in the fancy of gyms, there is an unfortunate rise in the number of injuries due to bad form or simple accidents.

Lower back, hips, knees, ankles taking the majority of people out, keeping them away from physical activity and in the endless loop of rehab and physiotherapy.

Our feet are the foundation of our entire body, and the most important stabilizer in most of our exercises, and still one of the most under trained parts of the body.
On top of this, we wear shoes when working out, cushioned, zero- ground- feedback shoes.

It is important to have the best grip, and the widest splay to ensure a strong foundation when lifting weights to maximize our potential, and reduce the chances of injury.

Now the best way to accomplish this would be to work out barefoot. But let’s get real, it can be risky, and not a lot of gyms allow for it.

That is where barefoot shoes come into the picture.

Barefoot shoes can help you elevate your gym game to the next level.

1. It has zero heel to toe drop - meaning no heel elevation, giving you a natural stance.

2. Wide toe box - a wide toe box ensures you can splay your toes wide for a perfect tripod foot to push through the ground

3. Thin sole - a thin, no cushion sole means you feel the ground, creating a strong foot - mind connection. Plus, there is no unstable cushion under your feet that can knock your balance off when lifting heavy.

4. Flexible sole - flexible soles mean complete freedom of movement. Doing lunges or squats will not be limited by tight shoes and you will be able to drive your ankle how you wish to.

A lot f people would deadlift barefoot, squat barefoot only to ensure all these, now working out barefoot would still qualify as the best way to do it.

But if you can’t, Zen Barefoot has you covered with your workouts.

Working out is one of the best things you can do for your body and great equipment can be the difference between maximizing your workouts to achieve your goals or injuring yourself and staying out of the game for weeks or even months.

Go barefoot. Stay healthy. Stay fit.
