Move every day Zen Kairos

Every Day Habits Matter More

‎”I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.”
-Bruce Lee

In this context of learning and training, this is one line that hits the hardest. However, there is a flip side to this.
Trying to understand this - simply put - repetition creates memory and makes movement second nature.

Unfortunately for a lot of us, bad habits and movement patterns have become something we practice 10,000 times a day.

This creates a learning for the body that only reinforces more of it. The more we repeat, the weaker we become, the higher chances of failure of our natural systems.

That is what we see all around us today. An epidemic of foot, knee, lower back problems surround us, and it is not a coincidence.

When it comes to staying healthy, we don’t want repetition, but variety in the way we move.
Exploring ranges of motion, directions, intensity the way we haven’t before.

Just ripping out push ups and squats at the gym is not enough. What we need is a holistic approach to fitness.

And for us, it starts at our feet. We created Zen Kairos to be that daily footwear. Something that can be worn everywhere, with everything. Limiting barefoot shoes to the gym is not going to help you become better because we still end up ruining more through the day with every step we take.

Jump the ship. Go barefoot, for it is the only way.
