Natural movement for men in barefoot shoes

Natural movement: What modern men are missing

As your lives get more and more comfortable, the space and need for natural movement goes for a toss. When was the last time you deep squatted for a good thirty minutes. How many of us can anymore? A movement as basic as a squat, when that becomes inaccessible, it is time to rethink our movement patterns and abilities because sooner or later, they will become the cause for pain and mobility challenges.

We went from hunters who were always on their feet, who slept on rocks, to gatherers and explorers who travelled across countries and continents to now men who wear shoes even inside their homes because our feet hurt.

What is important to understand is that our bodies are super resilient and adaptable. That is how we’ve survived over centuries. The kind of pressure we put on our bodies, our bodies will become stronger or weaker accordingly.

When we consistently put our feet in cushioned, ill- fitting shoes in the name of comfort, that is all the body is prepared for. The day more is demanded from it, it breaks. And that is when the circle of long term chronic pain begins.

Today, there are more people with chronic pain than any other time in history.

And the reason is not overwork, but underwork.

We are super immobile in our bodies and that needs a rework. That is where Zen Barefoot is trying to make a change in the long term daily life habits of men.

Our shoes are not specialized for running, or walking, rather, they’re the shoe that help you and your body to figure out limitations and attempt to slowly push beyond and regain the natural abilities that we have lost over these years of wearing bad shoes.

No external product can motivate you or fix you. That onus is on you. We are here only to help you realize where that work needs to be put in, and to make sure we don’t come in the way but keep you safe from urban hazards.

Try Zen Barefoot, men, you need to be able to extract your full potential.
